KING ARTHUR TAUNTED BY A FRENCH SOLDIER
Our mighty King, Arthur the richest, the wisest, the bravest, the strongest, our father and protector, was meanly taunted on Saturday evening by a silly French soldier.
“I have been charged by God with a quest: I have to find the Holy Grail, an ancient relic which will make whoever drinks from it immortal. During our journey, my knights of the Round Table and I saw a castle and asked for food and shelter for the night. A soldier taunted me and threw live animals at us. He had a terrible French accent. This intolerable reception offended me and my men. We have been more than reasonable with these French toads!” explained King Arthur.
The young and brave Galahad added: “I have been shocked by this typically disrespectful French behaviour…”
King Arthur is still mourning the loss of one of his servants, crushed by a cow. “This loss makes me really sad, and I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family and my will to avenge him! His death shall not go unpunished.”
The master of the castle, Guy de Lombard, claims that King Arthur tried to take his castle by force and that his soldier only wanted to prevent him from entering.
However, according to the Royal Information Agency, the declaration of war will wait until the end of the quest for the Holy Grail.
