My name is Jake. I'm 16 now, but I want to tell you about something that happened when I was 12. At that time, I loved drawing manga and I always had my sketchbook with me. Some pupils in my class called me weird and a baby. They took my sketchbook and laughed at my drawings. Then one day, a girl posted a photo of one of my drawings in a group chat, and everyone wrote mean comments. I felt very sad and ashamed, and I stopped drawing at school. One day, my art teacher saw me crying. I told her everything, and she talked to my parents. The school talked to the bullies and they stopped. After that, I joined the manga club and, for the first time, I had real friends. Today, I still draw every day and I want to be an illustrator. So remember: be proud of what you love!
